We will begin pre-season conditioning on Monday, February 13th from 3:00 to 4:00 in the Renton Gym. These practices will help athletes get in shape before the official start of the season on March 13th. Conditioning sessions are optional: you can still join the team in March even if you don’t attend the pre-season sessions.
The goal of the pre-season conditioning will be to help athletes get in shape and avoid injury. Practices will be 3 days a week: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Monday and Thursday practices will be in the Renton gym from 3:00 to 4:00. Saturday sessions will be held at local parks (location will be announced in advance) so that we have a chance to do some longer running that we can’t do in the gym. It may be cold, so prepare to dress for the weather.
